Background
This proposal forms part of Mali sector-wide project to look at the provision of high quality learning environments close to the places of work for young generation ‘Multi-Agency Learning Space’.
Currently the ability of to provide their staff and their independent contractors with appropriate learning and development opportunities is restricted by insufficient facilities of suitable quality. Improved venues for learning would enable staff to keep up to date with the latest information technologies research, tools and techniques, develop personal and leadership skills, and share best practice between professional groups and organisations.
AJ-TIC has an excellent education centre and is developing a new learning resource centre but the facilities for the use of communication and information technologies are not well developed. This project would help to provide new facilities for all young and adult groups from the partner organisations while being complementary to existing resources.
